Locally designed and crafted civic sign highlights Pambula Village

If you’ve noticed changes in Pambula recently you’re witnessing what can happen when a small town works together to create magic!

Pambula Civic Sign project was initiated and managed by Pambula Business Chamber, and includes the new sign, map and bench which now graces the front of the Pambula Post Office and replaces a deteriorated old sign which promoted a map of Merimbula and advertisements for obsolete Eden businesses.

Designed by young Pambula local Christiane Partl who now works  internationally as an interior architect, this venture is the perfect example of what’s possible with a bit of optimism and energy.

“Seeing locals and visitors using this beautiful seat and sign is so rewarding. Now we can direct tourists to our amazing walks and beaches.” Libby Tweedie - Pambula shop owner.

The sign was constructed by builder Chris Briggs - local Pambula Beach resident, with materials donated very kindly by North Eden Timber, Mitre 10, Peter Berenguer, Merimbula Engineering and POD Gardens - the vast majority of whom are Pambula Business Chamber members.

The map and PAMBULA lettering was created and installed by Wilsons Signs in Pambula.

All of this was made possible thanks collaboration of the to the Pambula Rotary Club and Pambula Bendigo Bank - both amazing supporters of our local community.
